did we mention it is sustainably manufactured? in Italy, to boot?
to us, finding the right fabric for our clothes is just as important as designing the right pieces. and given that there are (obviously) a plethora of fabric options out there, we asked ourselves the same four questions every time we came across a fabric swatch we liked.
nobody has time for any toxic dry-cleaning crap.
…we don’t ever want to iron again.
can we sweat and travel and present to CEOs (or be a CEO) in it, all while looking crisp and feeling fresh?
is the mill concerned with their carbon footprint and their employees’ wellbeing? can you trace the supply chain and quality? ... and this baby is certified up and down:
ISO 14001 CERTIFIED
CLIMATE CERTIFIED
EPD ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFIED
OEKO-TEX CERTIFIED
ADHERENCE TO THE EU REACH REGULATION.
lucky for us, the very first fabric swatch we fell in love with passed our little test, and then some: the fabric — a breathable yet substantial eurojersey crafted in a small, solar-powered mill in Italy — does everything. or, rather, empowers you to do everything: it’s machine washable, and it’s wrinkle resistant. it’s quick drying, sweat-wicking and UPF 50. you really can sweat and travel and present to CEOs in it. hell, you can even swim in it. it will come as no surprise, then, that we lovingly called the fabric evolve, as that is exactly what it does all day long.
(and fall in love just like we did.)
we love them all like they are our children, so look out for more on the others (machine-washable wool!) soon.
